It doesn´t matter in the slightest what has been written in the text you linked. As far as I am concerned, I absolutely subscribe to what countries all over the world have done within the last few years, making "zoophilia" (or what sex with animals is commonly falsely called now) illegal as a deterrent for all those "curious" bored idiots and also giving more leverage to authorities in incidents like the Espenau case and an entire scene of "animal pornographists". I even say that making "zoophilia" illegal is totally legit...the only thing that´s missing is certain regulations making it for those among us who can objectively prove that their "zoophilia" has no bad consequences for the animal involved...like the "geduuit" policy the Netherlands pursues with cannabis...it´s not legal in the NL, but minor cases won´t face any prosecution.

What I would say is, (regarding correlation/causality), why are these people getting away with these illogical arguments? (And no one questioning them)? So many bills have appeared with almost identical reasons for wanting to ban it, and no one questions those reasons.

Because when a legislator opposes it, no matter how stupid it is, they get lambasted for it and accused of supporting "animal rape". I remember a few years ago when a few bills were going through and I believe someone in NH opposed the law because it was logically flawed and poor legislation and I don't think they got anything but grief for the effort.

Exactly; even if the laws are flawed, and animals consent and enjoy sex, it won't change anything; these legislators will not oppose a law that the public is for, it will only cause trouble, and rebellion from every anti zoo in their state..

That's because there isn't any "study" that without a doubt links zoophilia to pedophilia; its propaganda to turn society against the idea of sex with animals; what better way to outcast a minority, than to link them to someone who has no self control and has sex with underdeveloped children??
BTW there is studies viewing some cases where prison inmates that were pedophiles were also sexually attracted to animals, that is most likely where they got that information from, but these instances were far and few, (rather rare occurence for the two sexualities to correlate) and its very far from fact to say, (again biased misleading information) just because one person is that way, that all zoosexuals are, that's like saying all heterosexuals must be gay as well just because some people are bisexual..

I didn't see a reference to a particular study, but if they are referring to the data I think they are, then a more apt parallel to draw from that data is that nearly 100% of the sexual predators were heterosexual males. Using the supplied reasoning then it's clear we need laws making heterosexual sex illegal. It's the only way to protect our children!!!

See you understand exactly what I was saying; sarcasm aside; these are ridiculous tactical conclusions about zoophilia just used to further fuel hate and bigotry; fact is they are derived from minor instances, and posed as the "truth" of all zoophiles.. You can't base a whole entire sexual preference on the habits of a few people that have other deviant behaviors that are not even related to zoophilia, and say all the sudden there's absolutely no difference between two entirely different sexualities..
