Emergency contact plan

We had two recent scares about the existence of ZWG, the latest of which lasted over a week and just ended hours ago, if not sooner.

Fortunately, though frightfully long, they were just temporary. So far.

But the day could come when there is no return. And no way for anyone to know who is where. And where other copies of our archives may reside, if anywhere at all.

So just as fire & other disaster plans call for a rendezvous place or communications plan to make sure that all members of a group can remain together or in communication, so also I think that we should have a rendezvous location, to make sure we can all touch base, and if necessary, rebuild after the "fire".

Thinking that the end had finally happened, I made an account at zoocommunity.org, the only other place I could find that may be tolerant towards an Ornithophile Zoo.

I would not yet declare that to be an ideal rendezvous, as I have only just started reading their content (reading of most content is barred until you have signed up and your application is approved).

Could we maybe seek out and evaluate candidates for an emergency venue, and from them, perhaps find a proper spot (or two)?

I've an account on zoocommunity, and the other two too - zooville and zoocadia. Not sure how many people are on Bluesky, but lots of furry artists are evacuating to there. Oh, I'm also on Telegram.

Telegram has the eye of the 3-letter agencies. Zooville is the most populated and well known, but also the most dumpster-fire. Maybe start a specific thread there for only this purpose?

I'm only on Zooville at the moment. They have had more than their share of downtime, too. As I type this, ZV is running excruciatingly slow.

I'm afraid ZooVille will not be an option for me, their rules explicitly forbid ANY discussion of Birds in a zoosexual context.
Zoocadia? Haven't heard of that one. I will have to check them out, if I can find a link. And provided they don't also have the usual Bird-ban.
Can anyone here provide some info about them? Do they host Zoophile stories? Would they be a backup for our archives?

For that matter, are there any other appropriate sites online that would host Zoo stories and articles?

I've heard of Telegram, but know nothing of what it is or how it works. But if it's anything like Farcebook or the site formerly known as Twatter, it will likely not be for me either.

Not on Telegram either, but am aware of "zoo groups" there being broken and 20 or so users at a time being caught in a given group. So I've shied away.
