I have a friend with a brand new Macintosh who is having difficulty using PanPipes... he is new to the operating system and needs some assistance.

I could likely help, but I am unfamiliar with PanPipes itself. You know what it runs on? Telnet? Java?
Rannoch, you can access it with Telnet, but the MUD clients do a better job. MUSHClient does an excellent job under WIN, I dunno if it's ported top the Mac OS or not. Gammon Software Solutions wrote it, you might try their website.
Likely could run under a mac version of WINE or similar at worst.
It should, it's small and simple.
