Those are corpses, not people.  The distinction is kind of important.

They were people.  That's the point.  They were somebody.  They probably meant something to some other somebody.  Until someone did something stubborn or stupid.

It's a little more elegant than that.   DMORT is where those "temporary morgues" come from.

I'm hoping that we don't end up with a major food shortage, at any point if a second lockdown does happen, I can only store barely a weeks worth of food where I live, and I would hate to resort to the local wildlife, I've been trying to build some trust with the deer. There's a young doe I've had my eyes on.

Not disagreeing.  Semantics, I guess.  And yeah, tragic all the same.

I am happy!   Mud Bugs are here at the small outdoor shack type place near where I live.   Finally I can eat something I really like without all all the panic response elsewhere.

They are semi-trailers now.  They show them in rows on the news.

That's what DMORT uses but they are dedicated with permanent racks and drawers built in.   The important part is that they come with fully equipped morticians,  clergy, and forensic experts who are all professionals and can provide care all the way to the grave/cremation.   It is assumed that local providers have been overwhelmed and/or special processing is needed.   They're just portable.

They were used after 9-11 to sort and identify the pieces.
