Okay, back to topic then: When I was growing my hemp last year, I sadly missed to identify one stupid hermaphrodite plant that accidentally pollinated two of my preferred strains. Made me quite grumpy last autumn, but I said to myself "Well, fuck it, I´ll let the seeds ripen and see what they´re producing next year, just for fun." Well, I spread some of the seeds onto the ground (possibly about 100 - 150) and never expected them to thrive. I was wrong. About a third of those seeds sprouted, I thinned them out to have about 15 seedlings, the strongest ones left...the hermaphrodite plant was an autoflowering variety and passed that on to about half of the seedlings...I just harvested two weeks ago and today, I took some of this stash with me when I rode a tournament today. Rolled a joint after my ride that wasn´t exactly successful...but still was placed 5th so I had to keep my Lipizzan mare saddled for the honour round...hell, I should NOT have smoked that jolly, folks. This stuff is totally brutal, I can hardly remember smoking anything similarly powerful, 100% Indica, couchlock stone, squinted and red eyes included. The tournament judges gave me some creepy stares , I must have looked pretty deranged...and now I´m seriously playing with the idea to crossbreed cannabis on my own. Not for commercial purposes...well, maybe semicommercial. Luckily I know a bit about manipulating hemp, I know how to feminise a plant and I also know how to produce hemp seeds properly due to the fact that hemp seeds are prohibited to own in Germany and I had to produce my own seeds before the EU made it possible to import hemp seeds from Spain and the UK. Tl;dr: I´ll probably pick up a new hobby because an accidental pollination led to surprisingly potent stuff to smoke. And it´s autoflowering, too...no photoperiod to keep in mind, just put the seeds into soil and wait for 80 days..

Quote: It can be... but there is a difference between debating and arguing. And yes I am guilty of morphing into the latter as well. All I can say is don't get in an argument about what constitutes debate, it makes you look like a real ass... /emoticons/ 2x" title=":P" width="20" /> In my hobbies, I'm presently building a hardened firewall system for a client of mine. It should be a fun build. It's also kind of scary in case it doesn't work (but I AM pretty good at this, or so I keep telling myself).

Debate is fine as long as it stays away from politics and religion... in those directions lie arguments.

Quote: Religion being a belief is naturally a non-debatable issue in 99% of instances. Politics can be debated. The idea it cannot is born in ignorance. Like most things though, both sides have to be willing going in, and that is increasingly difficult. ... Damn, this is totally off-topic and you roped me in now...

Quote: Politics can be debated. 10 years ago maybe. Today we are in the middle of a paradigm shift in all of the western world. Some ideologies became quasi-religious and challenge them ends almost civil war like.

Thanks for the reminder. They be using my love of pointless debate against me! |
