My sister must'a been cleaning out something, cause she sent me a box of some of dad's old stuff, just out of the blue.
Aside from an old wristwatch and other stuff, she stuck in a little .25 auto, I hadn't seen in years. I had long ago thought it was lost.
What is this tiny powerhouse?

This is one of the better guns H&R put out. Built around 1916.
It was licensed from...
Webley & Scott Automatic Pistol
Externally similar models were also built in the USA by Harrington & Richardson in .25ACP and .32ACP calibers between 1912 and 1924. These H&R pistols differed internally from Webley pistols by having a coil-type return spring located inside the slide, and they were also striker-fired.
Actually it wasn't striker fired, the H&R had an internal hammer, similar to the Colt 1903.

I have an H&R 10 Gauge shotgun that I love that's hanging on the wall, has hammer action on both barrels.I have a couple of their .22s. I have a few others. I love seeing anything from Harrington & Richardson, especially when it still functions! A local company my grandfather worked for sub-contracted for them, and he designed many guns. I know this isn't one of them, but it still gives me a feeling, and it's cooler than hell besides. Thanks for showing us.
