so how is everyone surviving the pandemic

My folks were into ham radio when I was growing up back in the 50s. Dad built his receiver and transmitter from Heathkits. Kids at school--and even the teachers--thought I was a real weirdo because I knew Ohm's law and vacuum tube theory when I was in, like, fourth or fifth grade. I always thought it was cool to watch the tubes modulate when the transmitter was in action.
