Apparently monitoring Social Media was an extension of monitoring the Dark Web.
Why the USPS was monitoring the Dark Web instead of the usual 3-letter agencies? Good question.
1) Betting it had something to do with available funding.
2) Maybe having the USPS surveilling US citizens was more palatable than other "spy" agencies. Although lawdy knows Dept of Homelland Security has been at it for some decades without asking us if we thought it was a good idea.....
