Wow.  He bears a striking resemblance to my roommate's dog, except for the white on his chest.  Face, color, ears, everything.    Roomie's dog, though, has indeed crossed "The Bridge" several years ago at age 14.  She could be sweet and loving when it suited her, but mostly she was the "Fun Police" for the other dogs.  One of her nicknames was The Red Queen.
