Arag Silverfur. That's the name he often went by in UK furry and zoo circles back in the  late 1990's / early 2000's. I haven't talked to him since August, but I went looking for him at a RPing venue he used to hang out at, and he hasn't logged in since September. He was getting pretty long in the tooth and I've got a nasty feeling he may have died. Anybody got any news of him?

In regards to wolfsong, Is he the one who originally associated zoos with the zeta symbol? Do you know the history behind that? I've been wanting to know the record on how the zeta was chosen for us.

Zeta is the letter Z.  Z for Zoo.  I have no doctoral treatise supporting this conclusion, but it seems pretty obvious.....

I'd like to know the back story on it if anyone remembers when that symbol started getting used, and why it was picked over lets say a colored flag, or some other concept?




It would be similar to how a rainbow flag came to represent LGBT.
